What Does Being Still Mean?
 What Does Being Still Mean?
What did God mean "Be Still and Know That I Am God"
To Be Still is a conscious state. A state of mind where all outside forces are
removed. To Surrender to the Omnipresent. To be one with the universe. A one way line of communication from
the powers that be. Waves of Truth.
So, what are outside forces? They are everything that constitutes your current frame of mind. All that has been manifested
in your life so far. Family, Friends, Jobs, Bills, Homes, Money and material possessions.
Before you can enter this state of mind or "Be Still" - Faith, Humility, and Intention must be present.
You can never Be Still if Fear, Anticipation, Greed, Lust, Anger, and Resentments rule
your being.
Some say that to Be Still is a Meditative State. While this is some what true, it also requires that
you have intention. A desire to seek something that seems to be missing in your life. An itch that can't be scratched.
A connection to a power greater then yourself.
To Be truly Still every thought, feeling, and emotion has to be put on hold. The forces must be removed.
Can you do it?
At this time the majority of the human race can't, for the path is very narrow.
So, where is God's awareness of this spiritual actuality?
I tell you this day, there is a storm brewing on the Horizon. Your spiritual presence is about to be tested.
Quoting the bible in my opinion is not necessary to deliver the message of trouble on the horizon.
Can't you feel it? See it?
On the other hand it is interesting to read a couple of passages that pertain to the point I'm trying to make.
(No interpretation needed. Clear as a bell)
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you
may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
1 John 2:15-17 (New International Version, ©2011)
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not
in them. 16 For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-comes not from
the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
Take note in 1 John. "Lust, pride, desires" (a one way ticket to the negative side of the universe).
